I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

If you've forgotten your account password, follow these steps to reset it:
Visit the Al Mulla Exchange website or open the Al Mulla Exchange App.

For the Website:
Step 1: Visit Al Mulla Exchange Website
Step 1: Click on “Send Money”, to go to the login page. 
Step 2: On the login page, click the "Forgot Password" button. 
Step 3: Click on “Send OTP” through mode of your choice (SMS, WhatsApp)
Step 4: Enter OTP and set the new password.

For the App
Step 1: Install the Al Mulla Exchange App
Step 2: Tap on the “Login” button and click “Forgot Password”. 
Step 3: Enter your Civil ID Number, then click the “OTP” button
Step 4: Choose a destination where you want the OTP to be sent to
Step 5: Enter your OTP and type in “Verify OTP”. 
Step 4: Enter your new password, and enter it once more to confirm it once more.
Step 7: After adding and confirming the password, tap on the “Reset” Button.

Your password has been successfully changed, and you can now log in with your new credentials.  If you continue to experience any issues, please reach out to customer support for assistance at 1840123

Are my K-net/debit card details saved in the App?

No, your K-net and debit card details are never saved in the Al Mulla Exchange App or on our website. We prioritize your privacy and security, ensuring your financial information remains confidential. 

Is my data secure during and after transactions?

Yes, confidentiality and integrity of your data are fully maintained during and after the transaction. We have implemented a world-class data security standards designed to safeguard customers data/information. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of privacy and security to ensure your information always remains confidential and secure.   

What should I do if I suspect fraud?

If you suspect a fraud, immediately report the case to us by calling 1840123, emailing at help@almullaexchange.com, or visit any of our branches and our team will assist you with necessary steps. 

If you believe your K-net card has been compromised, contact your bank right away to block the card to prevent any unauthorized transactions. Additionally, it’s important to report the incident to the police for them to initiate an investigation. Taking prompt action will help protect your information and minimize the potential damage.

How can I protect myself from fraud?

1. Never share OTPs or account details:
Never share any OTP’s, passwords, or account details with anyone. Al Mulla Exchange never asks for such information.
2. Avoid suspicious deals:
Ignore messages claiming you have won a lottery, contest, or prize you never signed up for. Do not click on any link or open attachments from unknown sources.
3. Avoid Sending Money to Unknown Individuals:
Never send money to someone you don’t know personally. Always verify the identity of the person before actually making the transfer.
4. Use CBK-approved Exchange Companies:
Always deal with exchange companies licensed by the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK). These companies follow strict safety regulations to protect your funds.
5. Secure your devices:
Install trusted antivirus software and keep your phone, tablet, or computer updated to protect against any viruses, malware, or hacking attempts.
6. Enable Face ID or Fingerprint login:
Turn on Face ID or Fingerprint Sensor in the Al Mulla Exchange App to add an extra layer of protection. This ensures only you can access your account.

7. Beware of Scam Emails, calls from unknown numbers:
Do not respond to any calls from unknown numbers asking for personal or financial details. Never click on suspicious messages or links or share sensitive information with anyone.
8. Think before you click:
Be cautious when browsing online. Avoid clicking on suspicious pop-ups, ads, or unknown links --- especially those that promise rewards, urgent warnings, or quick gains.
9. Refund Request Scams: Don’t Fall for It
Scammers may first send you an SMS asking you to refund the amount sent to you mistakenly, claiming they sent you the money by accident. They will then ask you to enter your KNET details to "process the refund." If you receive such a message, do not click any links or enter any details. Always verify by calling us directly at 1840123.
Please note that Al Mulla Exchange never asks for OTP, your card number or any other banking details.

How do I know whether I am using authentic channel or medium

Use only Al Mulla Exchange App, Website, Kiosk and you may even visit any of our branch across Kuwait for your money transfers
Few of our branches have to follow the timing as per particular area
Do not use any other channel or medium to transfer your money

How do I stay alert from Fraudulent activities

Never share account details for any purpose stated by Telemarketers or even by Al Mulla Exchange Employee
Be cautious in any emergency that you are not sure of
Avoid Lottery prizes claims
Thorough verification for Charitable Institutions Transfers

What I should do if I suspect any Fraud scenario

Immediately report the case on Phone: 1840123, Email: help@almullaexchange.com or you may even visit any of your nearest Al Mulla Exchange branch.
If you feel your Knet card is accessed by someone you may even reach out to your respective Bank to block the card or even Contact Local Police
